pailhead
Hello, This is a weird request i know, but i desperatly need a pencil for an old a0 "houston instruments" plotter, bm-60 or something like that, ill get back to you on the model. Any ideas where to look for something like this?
Ernest Burden III
http://www.gsdirect.net I didn't think HI ever made a pencil plotter. That was usually Mutoh. My full-size HI plotter is gathering dust and rust in a closet. Once in a while I come across pen points for it, and am glad I no longer need them. Oh, and HI was bought by Summagraphics, which was bought by someone else, I think. Drivers are hard to find.
pailhead
I just checked, its a dmp-60 plotter, you've probably got the same one. We switched to hp designjet 120s, it meets all of our up to a1 needs, but HI can still come in handy since we have quite a few spare pens and its useful for big facade projections since they dont contain many numbers and texts. But, for some reasons. i could really use it with a pencil now, more than any laser or ink plotter. Do you have any ideas which terms to use when googling it (english is not my main language), i couldnt find anything on the adress you gave me. Custom built gadget with adapters also suitable, practicly i need anything that could get the job done.
Ernest Burden III
I don't think there was ever a way to get a pen plotter to use a pencil, short of tape, perhaps. What is it you are trying to do?
