komyali
I was thinking about gtx and quadro cards, gtx have more memory and they are faster but still quadro cards can handle bigger scene in 3d than gtx, so I googled around to see is it possible to convert gtx in quadro. I found that on first gtx cards people hacked drivers and gtx cards was working like quadro? But later nvidia locked everything, only reason they are doing this is to take money from buissines read they are moneylenders... here is some interesting links http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Nvidia-GTX-690-Quadro-K5000,21656.html http://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/hacking-nvidia-cards-into-their-professional-counterparts/
Andrew1
that is an amazing attempt ,that dude does not pass on a challenge... I honestly think that the hardware maybe the same but the driver is the key how the hardware performs and what is being utilized on the gpu board... kudos to that dude... Chris MacDonald
Amazing. I am almost tempted to give it a go when I get a new PC - though I might take out "accidental damage" insurance on it!
