creating a radiused counter top

What's the best way to create a radiused counter top for an island cabinet? I drew the shape using the create line and create arc tool, converting to an editable poly, selecting the edges and using the bridge modify but I'm sure there's a better way. I'm getting multiple edges with this method. Can I create a box and radius one edge?

Turn off "create new shape" below "autogrid" .. or draw the shape, turn on snap (vertex) create a box using the rectangular shape as a guide, than add a few line across the box, and pull one side out using the arc as a guide. Then you've got a low poly object. Add turbosmooth or mesh smooth, but before that add more lines all over the object, so you get nice edges. hope it helps
