Advice on remote access

I usually find myself remoting in to my work pc to check on or start backburner jobs through teamviewer. Having recently got myself a tablet I tried the teamviewer app on there to do the same but found a few annoyances. Like not being able to get the full screen displayed without panning, despite my tablet having a higher res than my pc. Not sure if this is a limitation of the mobile app.

 

Anyway, is there any better apps I could be using on android? Thought I also remembered something a while back about logging into backburner itself remotely but couldn't find anything. Would be grateful to hear your experiences.

Microsoft now offers RDP for iOS and Android as well (I think). I've only used it a touch, just to be sure I can kill a job if necessary, but it works fine and is free.
