avenjames
I got a news from my friend inadvertently just now, he said he use the game rendering engine for his rendering work sometime. And fallow this, I search with google and find some nice work there. They look really good and maybe with some ps-touches, it will be better and as perfect as the V-ray and one. Does anyone here could tell me more about this detail? Thanks very muc!
notamondayfan
Perhaps some links to the work you've found might help? It is true though that games engines / real-time engines are becoming better and better, but it's the same with anything, if you have the talent, you can make any piece of software / medium produce amazing results. avenjames
I see, for that I found some images from the net, and they showing the amazing effect even more than the normal one with V-ray, also, I think this kind of tec will be more better after the hardware going up in the future. Chris MacDonald
It would be nice to see some examples of what you're talking about. Game engines aren't there yet; that isn't to say you can't get some great results out of them but I have yet to see anything photorealistic from one, compared to the likes of VRay/Maxwell/Indigo/Octane/MR/Thea, etc. I also think we're still a few years away from it too though definitely on the right track with GPU rendering getting better and better all the time. It really is only a matter of time before realtime raytracing & GI become the norm in games.
