mirciu
Hello. I'm somewhat of a beginner - intermediate in Max, i have some knoledge of applying textures, lights, and i use vray with solidrocks for fast and more-than-decent renders. There is something i haven't been able to figure out, i'm sure it's something very easy. I basicly set up my usual stucco wall with a vraycolor in diffuse and a bump map in bump, for some texture. That's it, i don't modify anything else ( except for the uvw mapping of course ) . I st up a vray sun, a vray camera and start solidrocks ( and before starting the final render, i make some tweaks with the exposure and color mapping ) . It appeares that my wall texture gets a reflection if the sunt hits it directly, and where there is a corner, one side of the wall ( the one that is facing the sun ) casts a reflection onto the other and thus, at the very intersection the image gets almost burned. I'll try to explain with a pic , where the white frame and the wall are basicly the same material ( with different colors ). Thanks.
