danb4026
The rest of the image is ok...below is the bucket problem. Nothing I do seems to reslove. Has anyone run into this before?
CliveG
Hi Daniel, I've had similar problems that seem to be exclusive to multi-texture maps issues with DR. I tried to get answers on this forum before.... here http://forums.cgarchitect.com/73317-dr-displacement.html and here http://forums.cgarchitect.com/72542-dr-displacement-dilemma.html I even emailed Thomas at cg-source as I wondered if there were known issues with DR: No reply. I have no answers unfortunately. I really like the multi-texture map / floor-generator and really like DR, I just can't seem to use both at once. It may not be exactly the same problem as you're noticing, but I wonder if they are related still.
danb4026
Clive, thanks for the response. I have tried everything but to no avail. i have been using multi texures with dr for a long time and have never had this problem before.
CliveG
I say mine might be a similar issue because the displacement affects the light movement off the carpet and, like yours, the problem is subtle; like a small difference in a light calculation between host and nodes. I should try some more reasoned testing, like rendering out the individual passes to see exactly where the issue occurs, but I suspect that this won't lead me to a cure of the problem, because if it's bust - it's bust. Have you tried rendering out the individual passes?
