Dmk.
Hello! I have a problem with rendering, i have this problem first time ever and dont know whats going on. All materials seems to work properly. I got house model from revit and build scene on 3ds max. Maybe someone had this problem before ?
salvador
What renderer are you using? Looks like V-Ray. If so, try using the VFB (Virtual Frame Buffer) instead of the Max Frame Buffer and click on the Clamp Color button on the lower left toolbar. Francisco Penaloza
if you received the model from REVIT, mostly you load in your scene Autodesk materials, those are not compatible with VRay. and the other bad news is the default VRay scene converter does not affect this materials. you need to manually change this materials to VRay, or pay for a material converter that work with Autodesk materials, not to confuse with Arch&Design mental ray. riteshkumar
Hi, how did you get around this issue. I'm having the same problem at the moment. It goes away with iradience map and photon map option, and with the force color clamp. I also got the file imported from Revit... its a nuisance At first I thought it was vray physical cam,,, then tried playing with many settings,, so time consuming....
