jamisonlb Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 I have a complete crap model from a client with a half circular stair that has large landings. It has a solid gyp ceiling following it all the way around. Trying to figure out how to remodel this piece and get the steps into it. Ive tried a sweep, and loft with various custom shapes and it seems to pinch the geometry or wiggle the path of the sweep. Anyone have any ideas how to do this efficiently? Ive attached two images. one is the existing model condition and the second is a few attempts at sweeps and lofts etc. Also once ive gotten this figured out i have to get the steps cut into it as well.
