aaronkatz
I studied modeling, lighting, rendering and etc for quite some time and I believe I have solid skills, but every time I'm trying to make a "full" project - I'm fail to finish. It is easier with game models - just make objects right, but with arch vis I don't know what exactly should I do. Should I make up scene entirely, or choose some photo and recreate it? Any advices how to start a arch vis portfolio?

Any advices how to start a arch vis portfolio? There was a similar topic on this before. Someone suggested going to houzz.com and using an interior/exterior photo as a reference or starting point.
