Animation & Modeling Project Advice

Hello to all,

I'm looking for information from modeling and animation pros (big and small operations) as to what if any is a standard rate of pay for modeling architecture, animating fly throughs, etc. I'm just really looking for some ball park figures I guess on a breakdown of a typical project since I have a potential customer interested in this type of work. Charging for the animation is my biggest variable. Is there a set price per finished second or scene? Any info would be appreciated, and my apologies for being so vague, but this is about as much info as I have on this potential project. Thanks in advance.

Jon,

This is a topic that has been covered on this site many times before, if you do a search you will no doubt see the differing opinions. Basically there is no set price for any type of 3D work that you may be doing. A good rule to follow would be to make sure that you don't under sell your product or your time. Most of the time the client wants to get something for nothing, and if you give him a good deal the first time, he will always expect that deal when ever you do work for him.
