Charley89
Hello! I've got some geometry problem in my rendering, and I can't figure it out, how to solve it. I created a singe pavement piece and multiplied it with the clone modifier. On the render there are these wired darker and lighter stripes. Any suggestion? Thanks for the help! Jose Negrete
Szia, Do you have coplanar geometry? I have seen similar in the past and it was due to duplicate geometry.
Charley89
Hy, there isn't any coplanar geometry. If I have only 1 element, the problem isn't there. But if make a copy next to it, the first one gets this effect. If I make 2 copies, the first 2 has the effect, but the latest copy never. I really don't understand this. Jose Negrete
It almost looks like a gap between panels. Are the panels separate objects when you copy them? or are they copies in element sub-object mode, and part of the same object?
Charley89
On the sample pictures above, the elements are in one object, copied with the clone modifier. But I tried it with instanced and normal copy too. Same result...
Ismael
1) Clones are not tiling, therefore creating a seam 2) Do not believe everything you see in viewport, texture and render a sample and judge that. 2 cents
Charley89
The second image is rendered with 2 different materials, and 1/3 of the element is lighter than the other 2/3.
