tiagovasconcelos
Hi, i have this question that it's bugging me for a while. In arch viz, let's say you want to model a simple house and do some exterior and interior renders. How is your workflow? - Do you model the exterior and interior all in one "model"? - Do you have separate models for interior and exterior? I always have a bit of a hard time to model the exterior of the house and get a nice interior. Or maybe if i want a house that's half below ground surface, how can i clean the ground inside the house model? I know these are noob, stupid questions but can you please just share your workflow? M V
Every project is different. Time is money and if it makes sense to model both the interior and exterior in one model, then I will do so. I would say that most of the time I have an exterior model and then a saved out interior model.
notamondayfan
unless you are going to see both the exterior and interior in 1 shot, then 90% of the time I'd have them as separate models. It makes more sense to me as you can treat each as totally separate from each other. It also help to keep file sizes down and more manageable too. tiagovasconcelos
Thanks, i always have some issues when starting to model the exterior and the interior gets all weird and with gaps, light leaks, etc... I model some walls, then i can't get them to look good on interior, ceilings, etc...
M V
Think of it as a Hollywood set. You are really only going to model what you need to see.
