Arnold Sher
hey everyone, can anyone point me in the right direction oh how to save a lighting solution in vray and then pick it up in such a way that it does not have to recalculate GI for every frame. Love what it does for still but would be nice to use it in animations. Thanxs

Love what it does for still but would be nice to use it in animations. Thanxs First you have to save your solution. Then do an "Incremental add to current map" don't forget to check the Auto save and save your solution into a new file. Then render to every 10th frame. The new solution will be created after the last frame is rendered. Then you can now load this solution "from file" and render all your frames. Take note that this is not applicable if there are moving objects in the scene, except for the moving RPC. Hope this helps.
