Devin Johnston
I've been working on this interior for 2 days and I'm getting ready to render out the final image, I would just like to hear any comments you may have.
vertexART
Hi there, work looks good, especially the image concept and detail. But, materials need work, mapping is too low-res, and contrast is low. Lightning needs some work too, have you tried Radiosity or mrGI? What software is it, BTW? Keep us posted, cheers
Devin Johnston
I'm using Final Render, I'm a relativley new user so I'm still trying to get a handle on all of the different settings. I'm still working on the mapping hope to improve that before the end of the day.
pmanahan
Looks good, nice depth. I would suggest pulling your camera back a bit to show the bottom of the stairs on the right and more of the reception desk. My eye was drawn too the man in the foreground, I would not crop him out of the image but have him fully in the image, pulling the camera back would do that also. pmanahan
Devin Johnston
This is the final image; I pulled the camera back about 10 feet and added more contrast and a little saturation. This image is being printed at 11x17 so everything is blown up, I don't know about you but when ever things are printed at this size they never look a good as they do on the screen. What do you think?
Ricardo Eloy
Sorry, but I think it looks too flat. IMHO, it needs a lot more depth, which you can achieve by working with lights and shadows.
Tony
I agree with Rick. The image lacks depth. Way to much ambient light. Also, the materials need a lot of work. The blocks on the right wall are huge and very flat. Did you use GI? Tony
