yvespires
Hello, I'm starting to learn how to work with V-ray in 3d studio max 2013 and I was hoping you guys could help me out. I've been using some scenes that I found on the internet and I've been trying to get close to the result that other people did, but with no sucess. Everything I try to render ends up too bright. I've been playing with v-ray settings but I just can't get it right. Here are some pictures: (The good ones are the original, the bright ones are mine) Any ideas? Thanks
anejo
Could something as simple as your camera exposure settings. The link below may help. It may help if you post you vray settings so people could help you better. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exposure_value
Nic H
looks like a gamma issue
salvador
Gamma indeed. Try that.
RyderSK
It's exposure/color mapping. Double gamma would provide much more bleached look.
yvespires
Thanks everyone! It was a gamma/exposure issue. I'm getting the desired results now!
