Vray free materials

Hi everybody,

i'm new in the forum and i'm just starting using vray.

I'd like to know if there is any website that offers free vray materials.

I found this one http://www.learnvray.com/vray-materials/ but it's not free.

Do you know anything similar but free?

Google tends to be very helpful in situations like this. Try to search for free vray materials.

The Vray-materials.de is propably the best, but make sure you learn to create your own first (even very basic) so you know how to use these and how to modify them. It's not as easy as downloading materials and applying them to geometry. Do you already know how material sampling works in Vray ? UVWmapping your objects and specifying UVW specs in texture slots of material ? If you aren't beginner then you only need to take care of the sampling (for example you might download material that has 80 samples in reflection but you might not need it)
