marckie258
Hi Cynthia, I love the image. the only thing that destruct my eyes is your sofa, maybe it would be nice if you change the materials. MARK MAC Studio
IC
Seems to be a real lack of shadows and contrast. Got potential though.
Cynthia Hansen
thanks for the comments! I'll play more with the lighting to give a little more depth to the shadows and that may also help the couch material.
vertexART
Hi Cynthia, work looks OK so far, except the mats and light as already mentioned. What software is it, BTW? Work a bit on the composition(view) also, I suggest you step away from the dining table (chairs are blocking the view), or make a separate render showing the table... Keep us posted! DelfoZ
are u using self ilum. mat in the sofa ? maybe if u add a sunligh coming throw the window and hiting in the sofa or floor.....
SEIF
i guess the place is too crowded...u have many items and wanted to show them all in a single scene...and that didnt turn out to be a good idea... maybe some arrangement of furniture willl help...also colours are not " rich "..nothing amusing if u get what i mean... Delfoz's comment is a nice one...try making the sunlight pass through the facing windows and cover the furniture and let's see what happens... Cynthia Hansen
Wow! Thanks for all of the input. It was modeled and rendered in 3d max and thanks to the comments earlier I've moved the light source so that there is more play of light on the furniture and room. It looks better but there are some weird green areas in the shadows, so I'm going to rework the shadow color values and then rerender and hopefully have another image up today. Thanks again! SEIF
a little better...but there is no good contrast between light and shadow... sofa & chair materials are weakining the scene alot...why not even changing them ???...try : http://www.e-interiors.net ....maybe you can find something more suitable...
