Brian Cassil
How long has the nitrous driver been around and it's still unusable? Frequently as I am cloning objects the cloned objects are not visible... Am I the only one who experiences this? Is there some sort of fix? On top of this the "legacy" direct3D driver can't navigate large scenes without crashing so I am relegated to constant closing and reopening scenes to "fix" the cloning objects problem with nitrous direct3D. Somebody please tell me there is a better way!
Justin Hunt
I have the same issue, as such I dont Shift Drag to clone any more, I right click->clone. Its more clicks but at least things clone properly. jhv

stuartkemp
I don't have that particular issue but have plenty others. Does make you wonder how and why anyone would release something that is so buggy, surely they must have known?! Josef Wienerroither
Which versions and service packs are you all using ? Max 2014 SP3 fixes most issues for me and i have to say that this version is the most stable since the Max 2009 days Especially the clone bugs have been fixed in the latest SP's
Chris MacDonald
Somebody remind me why we keep using this software... Market saturation, sadly. Because everybody uses it, everybody has to use it.

Scott Schroeder
The only bug I get from time to time with 2014 sp3 is either I get the random display triangulation, this usually happens when I have objects with live modifiers on the like a UVW map. Turning on and off the modifier solves the issue. The other annoying one is if I have an object that is an instance, sometimes if I go into sub-object mode the entire thing will disappear until a vert/face/edge is selected. If I moved that selected sub-object off screen, then model disappears again.

The problem with cloning is a pretty dependable one, it makes Nitrous unusable. The idea of not shift dragging to clone is better than what I'm doing now, but still not much of a work around.
