Chris MacDonald
Anybody ever had this? See attached. Brought in a spline from a DWG, as you do. All of the curves are messed up like this, have tried resetting the xform, but to no avail. Don't really want to have to re-draw everything from scratch. cg_Butler
It might be to do with your scene units. I've seen it a few times and i think it only happens in maxfiles setup with scene units as metres with some CAD files. Not all CAD, just some! Not a very helpful answer sorry. Stephen Thomas
Try importing as Legacy Autocad instead of straight DWG and see if that helps. Less options regarding layers etc. but usually sorts out curve issues.

Scott Schroeder
Splines get all wiggly like that when they are too far away from the origin. You'll need to move your cad to world 0,0,0 in either AutoCAD before you import or Max afterwards. Also make sure you are working in same units as the CAD file or converting the units properly on import.
