dongjopark
Hi, there I've been using Max 2014 and Vray 2.4 for couple weeks now. so I am very beginning of stage. So long story short, I set up Vray sun and Vray Light on interior space. I started getting this weird effect on rendered image on VFB. Strangely, when I save to jpeg or other image formats, it comes out what I expected. so, it only occurs in VFB. I must have changed some value somewhere because it was ok until this morning. One thing I remembered was that I changed gamma value .ini file saved on 3d max. bitmap out put value to 1.0 from 2.2. Input value is still 2.2. I changed this value because I was getting different image from rendered image to jpeg format. Jpeg was very much washed out. after doing so, i was getting same saved image and rendered image. However, now this gives me this crap. I changed output gamma back to 2.2. Not getting better. so I am speculating I changed something else. Please see attached setting and image. Thank you in advance.

salvador
Easy, turn on "Color Clamping" on your VFB (lower left tools). This is overexposure you are looking at. Tweak you sun intensity or adjust your camera.
