bully712
This has been taking me a couple of weeks now to get to this point. I designed this myself from ground up. I drew the floor plans, and elevations in cad, then I built the 3D. Now I'm starting to work on the lighting, and this is where I am so far. Just like an Architect, you tend to modify your design constantly, so modeling changes will be guaranteed. The lighting is a start.... Just thought that I would see what you guys and gal's think so far...
Juan Altieri
think about the situation your project will recreate, if you need to show the spotlights effect, just make a night view (the celling will looks mode dark) and try to give more contrast to the image........ your model looks so good... doujay888
Your modellling is good. lighting? did you use radiosity, I think you made use of the standard lights right?, if you did, try radiosity, it'll give you the effect you wanted. On the design. composition of finishes is good but the utilization of area is not well thought off. Instead of limiting the space between the worktop and the bottom of the overhead cabinet. push the overhead cab up to the ceiling, since you have wasted that space. In designing, aesthetic is only one factor, think as well about the compositions, space utilization and functions, ergonomic, andropometrics, design purpose and criteria etc. etc.
bully712
Thank you for the 2 responses I got. I was hoping to receive more comments.. Yes I did make use of standard lights. I would like to use radiosity, but my understanding of the concept is very poor. Being extremely busy, it's hard to find free time to mess around with it. Everytime I try using radiosity, I need to wear sunglass because my materials are so bright, and saturated. I'm in the process of refining the image, and I'll be posting an update. bully712
This is an update... I think it's getting better. I tried using radiosity, and actually it turn out looking bad. Until I figure out how to use radiosity efficiently, I'm just going to stick with regular lighting. C & C's are highly welcomed
