vkkv
I wish to achieve a long exposure shot like this: for a circulation diagram. Could you please point me in the right direction? I am familiar with the animation system in rhino, and I know that vray for rhino offers a motion blur setting: http://www.vray.com/vray_for_rhino/manual/physical_camera.shtml A couple ideas I have is using a toons material that emits light and then using a series of samples of a render where I animate the object across the screen and ask vray to render it at a long exposure. Then I would superimpose them in photoshop. Is this a good approach? Please help! I am really lost
Smile of Fury
If your goal is to create those light streaks in a still image, I would use Photoshop for the whole thing. Use the pen tool create the path you want the lights to follow, then add a glowing stroke to it. Lots of tutorials out there for exactly what you need.
