stuartkemp
Hello, Edit: Answer is to reset xform... don't know why I didn't think of that before. I am trying to create a diamond shaped panel for be used in Para3D and as such it has to be created in a specific way so that I can edit the size of the openings within Para3D. I have managed to do this but I am having trouble with the FFD modifier and the orientation of the control points. They need to be rotated correctly on to the points of my object in order to create a smooth paneling system in Para3D. I believe the problem is coming from the original rectangle, which I created and rotated 45 degrees, and the FFD seems to be following the orientation of this rectangle instead of that of the whole object. Anyone have any ideas how to correct this? I have tried manually moving the control points (which works in itself, but no with Para3D) and played around with pivots etc. but nothing is helping. Tommy L
You can either rotate the pivot before applying the FFD or you can rotate the object and reset the XForm.
stuartkemp
Cheers Tommy, but it's sorted. Was just a case of resetting the xform. Think I was just having a funny 5 minutes. Sent from my C5503 using Tapatalk
