christopherkray
Hi all I am newcomer and i having a problem with my scene which when i render for a small animation i get light spots which change in every frame, i have tried lots of setting in render to remove the problem but am not solving it at all. So the scene i am doing from the film "Shining" this is only a test project so i can understand lighting and material better. So i built the hallway and managed to get all the materials i need for the scene for a single frame render it is fine but when i try a animation just with the camera going down the hallway i get bright light spots and the roof boarder trim has dark blotches on it. i just cant seem to get a steady flow for each frame. Just for you to know in the scene there are 5 lights in the hallway which are vray ies with maps for the light shape and 1 more light in the fire exit sign and one last one is behind the fire exit door just to light up the small room slightly and there is no envoirment needed for this as everything is in side and no outside lights are needed. So if you can help me on this i would very great full Have attached render setup and render example Edited March 17, 2014 by christopherkray
Ismael
http://help.chaosgroup.com/vray/help/150SP1/render_params_advancedimap.htm Check Hemispheric subdivs (HSph. subdivs) and Interpolation samples.Increase HSP for the blotchiness. The spots appear to be reflections. Catmull is a sharpening filter and may cause flickering, area or video filter are better suited.
