As i have started doing a bit more architectural visualization recently i thought i would post my work as well, even if it's far from being as impressive as what one can find from the masters here ! Anyway, any comment welcome (but don't be too rude !) and in the meantime i'll post some more renders. Thanks for reading, Cheers, Laurent. pasqualebello
Hello Laurent! I do like the overall mood of it. Tough I think the interiors are a bit...hmmmm...can I say "unlived"? Get what I mean: like if nobody's living in there Anyway, nice one. Do you plan making other views or just enhancing this one? Is the grass fur or proxied? Cheers Paco
Zdravko Barisic
You did work in Iceberg, or what?
the3dcie
Thanks Pasquale. Yes, the renders i've been doing lately are always "empty", first because i don't really like images where people are not well integrated (and it's very difficult to get that right !), and second because i'm kind of a beginner in archiviz, coming back to that domain after so long time, almost 15 years ! So my first renders (i'll post some others in the coming days) are mostly for "learning" again and getting better feeling about what i can do with modern 3D apps. You did work in Iceberg, or what? Hi. No i don't work for Iceberg, which is a french, Paris based communication agency, but i visited their offices a few month ago and found them very inspiring so i tried to recreate them. Where did you see those renders, as i haven't posted them yet on CG Architect ? Cheers, Laurent.
Zdravko Barisic
^ I've seen them on your web portofolio. Also, I do not like humans in archiviz, too. They look ugly always....

Ah ok, didn't recall i had put my portfolio in my profile ! ^_^ As for humans in archiviz, i agree there are very few images where they are really well integrated. Most of the time it's just "RPC" added in the renders, and although i know they are here also to get a general idea of the size of an area, as well as put some "life" in the walkthrough, they often ruin an image otherwise really well done. Cheers, Laurent.
