paneli
Hello guys, I want to export my scene to unity and work on a rt arch project in it. Anyway I already have pretty complicated materials and I wander how to bake them the best way. What is really important is to find a way to bake without shadows and reflections, so I can make my own illumination in unity. Any suggestions how to setup vray for this? I also downloaded flatiron trial as I understood it's the best tool.
Jonathan
I've used Flatiron to bake for Unity, it works well but if your not baking shadows what are you baking? Baking down GI in Max via Flatiron will give you much better results than lighting in Unity. Reflections you cant bake as obviously they're view dependent, this will need to be dome in Unity. RyderSK
Maybe he means only the ambient light of the objects themselves without direct shadows so he can still move around furniture in realtime ? But I support the Flatiron idea, works well with Vray and does very decent unwrappings automatically (though not always one-click )
