paneli
Hello, I'm looking for a way to edit the gamma/brightness/contrast to a whole material. Similar as I can do to every single map with colorcorrect or color correction, but to a material as whole. anyone aware of such tool?
landrvr1
I don't believe that's even possible. If you don't mind my asking what would be the reason? Really the color correct at every place you'd need it would be the best way...

paneli
Check this FREE plugin - RenderMask http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/rendermask This is not exactly what I meant. For example you have an arch render and you want to make a specific bush/tree a little bit reddish or play a little bit with its color. I can of course open the mat and manually edit every single diffuse texture via color correction (or photoshop, whatever). But what I'm looking for is a plugin/script that will edit all at the same time. Or something like that.
Scott Schroeder
Use the plugin, render elements (Wire color, Vray Color, MatID or ObjID) or the built-in render masks in Vray 3.0 and just adjust it in post. It's far easier to do it in Photoshop and you don't have to waste incredible amounts of time doing re-renders just to see if your effect is exactly what you want. You can also check out the VMC script and see if it can do what you want it to do (http://www.oliverradford.com/3ds-max/scripts/vmc-vray-material-control/)
Roodogg
Hello, I'm looking for a way to edit the gamma/brightness/contrast to a whole material. Similar as I can do to every single map with colorcorrect or color correction, but to a material as whole. anyone aware of such tool? There is a Color Correct map in MAX. Just put above the bitmap in your diffuse slot. Or if you're looking for a script that controls all of you Color Correct materials at once? Try this... http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/vmc-vray-material-control
