graphix
One of my coworkers here tells me there is a way to unwrap a 3D object, say a cone so that it flat and shows how you would cut a piece of paper to make it. Any ideas? thanks in advance, graphix

Hector
Hello: You can try this software: "touchcad". at: http://www.touchcad.com/tc3ludesign.html It is used to design and produce inflatable structures, so you can unwrap the geometry to get the shape required to cut the fabric. It is also use for boat design.
