MulinoBianco
Hi guys I have installed 3ds max 2014 just to see new features, and then i found very strange problem.I can't weld 2 vertices on simple box using target weld,so i thought that was some problem with that version of max and i came back to 2012 version, same problem here! I think that this is the first time that i noticed this issue in 4-5 years of using 3ds max here is the video of some guy who explanes better my problem and the picture of my actual problem Edited April 5, 2014 by MulinoBianco adding image
Corey Beaulieu
I don't know the why, but if you just add an edit poly modifier to the stack it works just fine.

Corey Beaulieu
That's not what I said. I know it doesn't work with an editable poly. Use an edit poly modifier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jasonstewart
How was that center edge loop added? Through the box rollout? I sometimes have issues target welding but typically it is simply two vertexes that are on top of each other and then the two points I click for the target weld are not connected by a edge so it wont work. Try selecting all vertices and welding at a very small number and then try again. Of course if you made the box with the loop then that is very strange.
