Krisztian Gulyas Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) There are almost 700k polys in the scene and the the FPS does not go above 40. I know its enough to work with, but I worked with a few million polys and the FPS was more than that. In this scene I set some objects (500k polys total) to be displayed as a box and it didnt really help and the scene uses a bit more ram/hdd space than usual. What could cause this? Krisztian Gulyas Posted April 11, 2014 Author Share Posted April 11, 2014 Im using a GTX card, but today I figured it out. my processor overheated at random times, sometimes when the computer was idle. I took out the CPU and heater, thought something is wrong there. I noticed nothing, put it back, and now it works fine. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
