adeebothman
Dear all, please help i'm facing this problem where my 3ds max design 2014 material slots turn all black. I'm using Graphics card: 1GB NVIDIA QUADRO K600 (1DP & 1DVI-I) (1DP-DVI & 1DVI-VGA). Its already a month i been looking for the solution name it all the solution i already try it but the material slots still turn black. This kind of solution i already try 1. Switch the rendering engine at the assign renderer to vray. 2. set the gamma correction to 2.2 at the Gamma/Lut tab setting 3. switch from max.mentalray to Max at the custom UI and defualts switcher 4. and ofcoz reinstall the software. is there anyone can help me?? jasonstewart
My guess is that the materials in your slots are not compatible with vray. Try adding a vray material, I bet it shows up normally.
izumiaiko
Hi, Anyone can tell me how am I suppose to render clear glass? I had tried all sorts of way but whatever I tried It will just turn out to be "Frosted" and pixelated! Please PM me if possible! Thanks! The following is my setup: http://imageshack.com/a/img841/48/mvsl.jpg The following is my rendering: http://imageshack.com/a/img841/1268/aj5e.jpg I am able to provide more information too. Another question to add on. How do I insert like a scenery with all these grass and all in the scene? As I had always thought we are using Photoshop to put the scene in. Example of the scene I had always wanted to achieve through 3D Max Design 2014 itself: http://www.cgarchitect.com/content/portfolioitems/2014/04/96485/1_medium.jpg The example below is what I had done only through Photoshop cs6 as I have totally no idea how to put the scene in like above http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img843/3312/t84c.jpg
