IC
Something I've been doing in my spare time (when I should really be drawing up my extension!) Used a reference photo and changed things where I felt like it. No client, no deadline. Just for enjoyment.
skogskalle
nice job! I think the blue "doors" in front of the windows. (dont know what these are called...) need some more texture work. A little more dirt, and maybe some scratches in the paint... I dont like the tree, dont think it fits in, maybe its too green - not sure... other than that I really like it - great texturing. STRAT
i love the image, but i agree on those shutters. dirty them up. make them old and rickedy. they look too new as they are.
IC
Thanks guys. I'll dirty up the shutters. I liked the ones in the photo cos they were quite fresh looking but you're right they were much more bumpy and ragged. One of the other things I liked about the ref photo was the healthy green tree in the middle of this dry, dirty old street. Mine does look a little out of place though. argie_uk
Hi Iain, This is so utterly beyond what my capabilities could achieve, I think I hate you!! Stunning. Richard
IC
Thanks Richard There wasn't an awful lot to it to be honest. The modelling was done in no time and I just spent some time texturing and lighting it. Much more enjoyable than rendering the little boxy houses my job seems to revolve around these days. SEIF
GREAT....!!!..no other words...maybe the tree is a little bright...maybe if it turned a bit dark-green will blend more within the scene...
