Hi ,

 

Am working on a huge villa project. I usually do the distant scenery with forest pack which seems to take forever to render even after optimizing .

 

If any of you know alternative ways to achieve the same result then let me know.

Any help is deeply appreciated ..

for the distance you might only need one image.

render out a single higher res image with your trees and stuff on it and work it up in photoshop then put it back into 3d on a plane or use it in a 3D comp. much faster to render and work with and will look better.

 

you could split this up into a few more layers if need be to get the parallax on your camera moves.

Thank you , for your reply .. Can you please give a link to some tutorial explaining the same ?

I tried doing what you said but it doesnt look good even after applying normal maps ..

Any other ideas ?
