Devin Johnston
Are you asking how to make a material out of that, be more specific.
sharanshankar
you can make an opacity map for this in photoshop. just use select>colour range and select the colours which are to be the openings in the jali and delete them. after that make it a black n white image with the open spaces in white and opaque spaces in black. Fr3Drick Law Olmstead
The two simplest ways would seem to me to either: 1) edit the line work in AutoCAD, offset it so that you have one line in the middle of all your elements, import that middle line and in the rendering tab check -Enable In Renderer and -Enable In Viewport 2) import the line work that you client provided and throw an Extrude modifier onto the Slpine, this is the faster way, but the geometry is not quite as clean, assuming that you're probably going to want to chamfer some edges, this method will require a lot more clean up I would use AutoCAD to clean up the line work as much as possible, if that is an option. Hope this helps You can also use the Outline command in the Spline-Subobject mode Geometry tab to create the middle line. heni30
You can also bring it into a vector program like CorelDraw or Illustrator to draw your lines and export as an AI file which Max will import as lines.
