Hi all,

How do I recreate above image through procedural maps

I tried with marble procedural maps, it is not giving the random distribution of colors

I tried even with masking (B/W image created in Photoshop) no luck

I even tried with shellac and vray blend material no luck

please suggest me how do I do this

I don't think 3D Max procedural can handle that type of texture, maybe if you model the lines and apply a material per object, or material per element, can help you but that will involve modeling the lines. Personally I would create that texture in photoshop, can be faster and if changes come later, it will be easy to swap a texture than re model the whole thing.

Depends how many colors you want. You could use a gradient ramp with colors in the channels or you could use a gradient ramp in the mix channel of a mixmap then put noise maps (tiled to like .001 in the horizontal axis) in the colors.
