To make it pretty or to make it look more real?

What do you think about when creating a scene? Do you want to make it look more pretty even if it means hiding/changing some things (wardrobe, using the latest laptop instead a pc, putting in cool furniture thats too expensive or not even in production etc) OR you want to make it look real. Clutter, clothes, visible air conditioner, affordable furniture (even its not the prettiest) etc.

So why do you like one or the other style more?

The image must follow its purpose, its intended goal; but the end result will follow its maker's skillset and professionalism...
