liorsturlesi
Hi Guys, when i export SU model to 3ds Max (in 3ds format), I'm getting groups from geometry when i export high rise tower for example. All the floors (components or groups in SU ), become one object and it's very hard to work in the 3dmax like that. Is there a way to get all objects separated in 3dmax ? Thx. Zdravko Barisic
Explode before exporting? Do you have an option to export via OBJ? and to divide it by materials?
xEndlessxUrbiax
Alternatively, you can try to import the .skp into 3dsMax if you have a recent enough version of Max if you haven't tried that already.
Bruce Hart
The Soulburn script pack has a tool to detach multiple elements into individual objects
SkylineArch
Or export by material or other options until you get the results you are looking for.
numerobis
just import the skp file in max and you will get separated objects on the lowest level of groups/components. Nested groups will be separated. group/component in SU = Object in max Or you can choose to split objects by layer.
