heni30
Dr. West is going to rake in some big bucks when he goes after the Chaos Group for copyright infringement!
Ismael
The official name is V-Ray but from use, people get stuck calling it 'vray'. http://www.chaosgroup.com/en/2/vray.html

heni30
1940: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1940-Ad-Dr-Wests-Vray-Teeth-Dentifrice-Electric-Eye-ORIGINAL-ADVERTISING-/310935269646?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item48652fb10e So now, Vray not only renders faster but it gives you startling whiter teeth too! (and those reflections on the bottle and toothpaste could use some falloff) It's weird because I just googled Dr. West Vray and my thread came up on the first page where you can see the text about copyright infringement without even clicking. If they were public, it might have started a panic selling frenzy sending their stock value crashing - all because of a joke. But then maybe the purchase price would go down to $200. :-) Edited May 18, 2014 by heni30

heni30
Sent it over - @Ismael - In the early days a young teenager geek started a computer repair service in his garage. He called it Micro-soft Computer Repair. A battery of lawyers came down on him like a sledge hammer. Edited May 19, 2014 by heni30
M V
Looks like you can buy a copy from Amazon too. This would be a funny print to have in your office. http://www.amazon.com/Wests-Toothpaste-Miracle-Tuft-Toothbrush-Dental/dp/B00JU1VRW0
John Dollus
A bit more recent and something Vlado might actually want to check into: http://www.symantec.com/page.jsp?id=vray renderings that also protect your computer?! Genius
heni30
V-ray is dated 2011 on the page. Looks like Vlado can rake in some extra cash. (to pay off Dr. West's nephews) Edited May 20, 2014 by heni30
