How do I get rid of the swirling effect found on my roofing material. It happens to brick too. I know images always help, but it's only apparent at cirtain sizes. Let me know if you need more info on this, I'll try to post an image up on my site later on today. This here will only allow smaller sizes. Thanks ahead! STRAT Posted October 27, 2004 Share Posted October 27, 2004 either use a higher res AA render filter, like catmull-rom, or change the material filtering over from pyramidal to summed area. and if that still no works add some supersampling to the material. pmanahan Posted October 27, 2004 Share Posted October 27, 2004 In some cases, like big areas of carpet, I have rendered the image at very low res and that will break it up and then cut and paste it in photoshop back into the high res image.
