Tim Nelson Posted October 27, 2004 Share Posted October 27, 2004 Well I would probably prefer either early morning or late afternoon, when the light is good and the shadows get interesting. Colors really come to life at times like that. I guess it depends on what your purpose for the photograph is and what you're aiming for. Architectural photography is all about lighting and usually when you see good arch. photographs, there is always dramatic lighting with either intense direct light, or often you will see the shot right after the sun has set, so there aren't harsh shadows, but beautiful colored light surrounding everything.
