jamisonlb
Im modeling a down town, about 30 buildings and am constantly running into this. When i select some polygons and either use extrude or detach them and shell them once and while one of the vertices will extrude/move in the wrong direction. Is there a way to change the vert direction or something to remedy this? Thanks
Francisco Penaloza
Vertex orientation not sure, but faces can be flipped and usually that the right way to do it. If you shell something and one vertex jump or pop out, it is because the shell value is to big for that area or because the polygon that hold that vertex is pointing in the wrong direction. Also when poly modeling try to stay with quad some sharp corners also may produce unexpected flips or faces overlaps.
