marcinpabich
There is a lot of topics about what graphic card to buy. Can we make one sticky topic about GPUs with all informations and links to benchmarks summed up. What graphic card to buy for viewport performance and what for rendering. What gpu buy to which software, which is better in 3ds Max viewport and which in Maya viewport etc. Which render faster in octane and which in Vray RT... I would also attach links, reviews and charts in one place. It isn't so simple thing like it is with CPUs so i propose to make one big resource for everybody with diffrent needs. marcinpabich
Personally I am intrested in maximum viewport performance in 3ds Max 2014. What GPU is the best for large architectural and urban project with many millions of polygons. Quadro, GeForce? or maybe FirePro or Radeon? I've read that the best is 3ds Max 2010 + performance driver and that nitrous viewport is awful. For later version than 2010 there isn't any additional drivers for better performance. I've read also in one source that nitrous viewport handle better GeForce than Quadros, but in another I've read that Quadros allows for more polygnos in scene. So what is the best card for maximum viewport performance in 3ds Max 2014 (all with nitrous viewport)? Which family of cards display better overall and AA?
