sharanshankar
The corner marked in this image is a closed corner but has light under it. I am not sure whether it is light bleeding through or some over reflection. I used vray in 3dsmax to render this. there is only one light source in the scene, a vray dome light which uses a hdri sky image for lighting. these are the settings i used: image sampler adaptive dmc with catmul rom min subdiv 1, max subdivs 4 color mapping hsv exponential with default values sub-pixel mapping, clamp output, affect bg and linear workflow all checked gi primary - irradiance map - 0.75 multiplier very low preset with hsph subdivs at 50 and interp. samples at 20 least square fit interpolation and overlapping sample lookup gi secondary - light cache - 0.6 multiplier subdivs -1000 size - 0.2 dmc sampler adaptive amount -0.85 noise threshold - 0.
CliveG
Have you gone through a methodical process to establish what element is causing this? Like render it with a grey over-ride material Then render out with vray render elements (light, reflections, GI, specular, sample etc.) and check those to help isolate the issue. rohitarora
Hi buddy, first check your model if its fine...if that seems fine the try and follow what C G suggested, shall help you solve the issue.would also suggest you to render it with some higher level of light cache. sharanshankar
thanks guys. but there is nothing wrong with the model. i checked it thoroughly. as for trying to do a methodical troubleshoot, my max crashes every time i try to render it with an override material. not sure how to get around it. i tried it with another light source, vray sun from another angle. but that bright spot is not fixed in that. but when i rendered that region alone with the vray dome light that spot is fixed but the region borders are visible. @macker, that setting has worked well for me till now, as it always takes a lot more time when i use higher settings. and this is the first time i am came across this issue. maybe it might be fixed in higher qualities but that does not explain how it got fixed when i rendered the region alone. i am really confused as to what the problem might be. harryjohonalam
Have you 1z0-027 brain dumps - testking.net ever been through some sort of organized process to determine precisely what aspect can be producing this particular? Just like provide the item using a greyish over-ride product,,,After that provide out together with vray provide components (light, glare, GI, specular, test and so forth. ) along with look at those people to aid isolate the problem.
