Cesar R
I had my gf for almost 4 yrs... now now am single duh, but she was my longest realtionship. Obviously not the best - towards the end - but I did have some very few good times. I just want to be single for a while but not forever so if you guys know a cute girl give her my number lol jk the reason I ask how long have you been with someone is that everyone at school has been with their bf or gf for 2-3 yrs. and I was just wondering if that is usualy the average. the longest i used to go out with someone was 2-3 months tops - what happened to me ? lol ok , laters ! miguelafi
Somethines one person fells the need to have a commitment with other person, just to know what is like having a long term relantioship (just to give it s try) and suddenly u are walking down the ile in a church or felling exactly the way u are felling right now, its a matter of time for you to understand your situation and either go back with her (no matter how hard was at the end) or find another person u can commit again aa have another couple of years of happines until u start this cycle again, but in one of many u with get caught and live happily ever after?? anyway good luck and enjoy now by the way i have been with with gf for 4 years now, and looking for more years to come, in that lapse of time for different reasons we have been living in different continent for a year if u add all the periods and thats makes mi relationship stronger, i guess im very happy right now, hope all of you found what i have found in my girfiend, cheers

William Alexander
Taken, going on ten years- what was I thinking? Had a couple long term realtionships 3 years generally. Figure I was warming em up for the big "M". Both with in 6 months were committed and heading toward the ilse. You need a hobby hehehehe read the other thread. Nows a good time to try something different. RC is really cool, my kids would destroy em before I could fly one. I found myself in your shoes, I was out "pullin with the mates" (i'm assuming tossing back beers) and ended up being pestered into joining the local volunteer fire department, of course drinkin' with the chief puts you at a dissadvantage to saying no. I signed a bar knapkin pledging I'd show up for a meeting. That lead to the most interesting 7 years of my life. BTW that's where I got tangled up with the misses (she was a firefighter and a die hard one at that). She always gave me the heebie jeebies anyway, I had known of her since I was 17, she scared me (for good reason)!!!! The point is nows the time to do something wonderful, something you never tried, something you never dared, something redeeming..... When you do find the a good GF, it's not so easy to do these things, get married-probably never have another chance. Save the hobbies for an excuse to fight with the wife!!!!!!!! Hey Strat, "pullin with the m8s" & an obssesion with sheep? Is there cause for concern? LOL WDA

Cesar R
oh wow, its been almost 5 years since this thread, and look at me now. Ive been married for 4 months. I have to say, that since then, I have tried RC, Autocross, done alot of "pulling w the mates" (whateve that means). Its very interesting - these forums. They are in a way like a diary - a public diary/reminded of things you did. A reminder of challenges and such. I can see myself googleing myself in 20 years and reading all stuff again and say to myself "what was i thinking" ! So have you guys gotten married yet? Stephen Thomas
For those still unsure 'going out on the pull' means to try and pick up women, in a bar or club or wherever. Sad to say I'm going to have to break the run of happily married chaps as I just got my divorce papers through this week after seperating from my wife a year ago. There was no big falling out or anything, we're still on really good terms. We just got together really young and after 10 years together we both realised we had changed a lot from who we were then and didn't feel the same any more. I was seeing another girl for a few months there but that kinda fizzled out. I still have hope that the right girl is just around the corner but I have to say the thought of going out 'on the pull' scares me shitless now!
