I've been lurking for a while and decided to post some of my work for advice. I'm very new to this. This is almost my 1st render. Doing it for myself, for practicing. My goal is to achieve a realistic look (as much as possible). The scene is kind of empty for now, will add a few items...as long as it does not look too fake. The materials/deco is inspired in part by espace st-denis I would like to know what should I improve in this render and i'd like to know what do you think of my post prod work (very light post prod by the way). The modeling was not made by me except the lamp and the bookshelf. I only did the texturing/lightning in the whole scene. The scene was provided with this camera setup so I decided to stick with it for now. The AO was activated in v-ray but it would probably look better without. I know there's still too much aliasing (some models are kinda poor tho, like the chairs or the table). Let me know where to improve. Thanks Edited June 27, 2014 by philippelamoureux
philippelamoureux
I think this lightning/color setup looks better.
