Training advice needed

I am competent with Form Z, but I am new to Viz and can't seem to get the hang of it. Part of the problem, I think, is that the training materials I've been using so far are fine for getting familiar with basic commands, but are kind of disjointed. Does anyone know of any books, cd's, or training centers that will walk you all the way through a single project?
