I view a lot of the top work and it comes across as seamless. Even when it is stylized. Trying to make that jump from good to great. Any tips for a noob? P.S I'm using 3DS MAX/ vray to render this project. The backdrop is a 2d Plane. The grass is vray fur.
Corey Beaulieu
Scale, Saturation, and Evenness. Your building is out of scale to the backplate and frankly to itself. If the bottom floor is 12 feet tall then the top floor is at best. Always use correct dimensions and an appropriate camera lens to portray this sense of scale. Also, your textures elude o scale and the brick is tiny. The grass is very saturated by comparison and it wouldn't run all the way up to the house for most residential projects. There is a general dullness to the image, but moreover the backplate is too dark for the 3D work. It need to be straightened and it needs to be brighter. There is much more that needs to be addressed here, but do it in stages.
