javierseger
I am thinking on updating my PC since my brother is traveling to the States and I can get thinks cheaper than at home. My current rig is: i7 3770k / Z77 pro3 / 8gb ram / HD 5670 1gb / Seagate 2tb + hitachi 320 gb I was thinking on buying a Samsung 840 EVO. Would 128gb be enough or should I better go for the 256gb? I’ve never had issues with the performance of the GPU, but it’s been doing a very high pitched noise that is driving me crazy. Should I go for a GTX 750 Ti Superclocked 2GB or AMD 265/270x ? Any other suggestions?
braddewald
A lot of this depends on your budget but I would definitely go with a 250gb SSD over the 120gb. Other people here know a lot more about GPUs but a lot of it depends on whether you want it for real time rendering or viewport performance. Personally, I'd invest in more RAM. It isn't cheap right now but 8GB is pretty low nowadays for serious rendering.
