paulostorch
Hi guys, I have a quesiton regarding saving a picture after it renders in 3DS Max with Vray. After I render the scene and I'm pleased with the results, I then save the image as .png extension (and tried other extensions too), but when I check the saved image in my documents (or on Photoshop), It doesn't look anything like the finished render. I don't know what Im doing wrong. The image saved are washed out. I'm using 3DS Max 2014 with VRay 3.0. Some settings that i think it´s important to say here: - Gamma/LUT enable (2,2) affecting color selectors and material editor; - Image Sampler - Adaptive / Filter - VRayTriangleFilter; - Color mapping - Exponential with Gamma 2,2, Sub-pixel mapping and affect background checked; - Irradiance Map and Light Cache in Global Illumination I attached a printscreen of the problem, take a look. any suggestions, please? thank you. Zdravko Barisic
When you do saving via SAVE AS dialog, down below on dialog, you have some option like "gamma 2.2.." Uncheck it, and it will be saved normal, or just check what option works best for you. Also, you can fix this by adding gamma 0.454 in Photoshop. Good luck!
